Cat is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over a decade of experience helping families navigate one of the most personal parts of early parenthood: feeding their baby.
She’s known for her calm, practical approach and her deep knowledge of breastfeeding, pumping, formula, and everything in between. Whether you’re preparing to nurse, recovering from a tough birth, or figuring out a sustainable feeding plan that supports your mental health, Cat will meet you where you are—with zero judgment and maximum compassion.
Cat offers both in-person lactation consults throughout the DC-Maryland-Northern Virginia area and virtual visits nationwide.
Cat’s passion for this work started with her own feeding story. When her child, Jax, was born, breastfeeding was harder than she expected. She quickly realized how confusing and emotional the experience could be—and how life-changing the right support could make it.
In 2011, Cat began her professional career at WIC in Pinellas County, Florida, where she served as a peer counselor and was mentored by three amazing IBCLCs. She earned her board certification in 2015, recertified in 2020, and is preparing for her next recertification in 2025.
Today, she brings that same curiosity, empathy, and evidence-based care to every family she works with.
